Bobby Sherman

On my way to work every morning, I listen to a radio station that has a contest called "Forgotten 45". They play an oldies song that got a lot of air play for its time and then ask a question about the song. This morning, the DJ said, "this artist was on the cover of every teen magazine in the early 70's". My first thought was "Bobby Sherman". The song started and I knew immediately that it was Bobby Sherman singing Easy Come, Easy Go. I was the first caller so I won the fabulous prize--2 meals from Long John Silvers and 2 A&W root beer mugs--am I lucky or what? :)
My sister and I had Bobby Sherman posters plastered all over our bedroom walls. And we had a couple of his records--Easy Come, Easy Go and Julie, Do You Love Me which we played over and over and over.... I thought I would be married to Bobby someday...that is, until Donny Osmond stole my heart.
