Friday the 13th, all week

I am happy to see the week nearing the end. Joel and I have both had our share of bad luck and stress this week. On Monday, we had trouble with both of our cars which created a great deal of chaos and expense. Tuesday was an emotionally gut-wrenching day for me. On Wednesday we had work transportation issues and I had carry-over exhaustion from lack of sleep the night before. Thursday, was better. We test drove a car but we haven't really taken the time to talk about what we want to do next. This morning as Joel was leaving for work at 6:15AM, he locked the keys in my Dad's borrowed van. (Dad has graciously allowed us to use his van while we search for a car. I wonder if he might be having second thoughts right now...) Anyway, Joel had to drive my car to his work and unlock the store (30 minute drive), then drive to my mom and dad's house (30 minute drive) to pick up the extra van key and then drive back home to leave me the car and to get the van so he could high-tail it back to work. Naturally, Joel was calm and collected this morning. I am feeling the stress of the entire week on my shoulders. So now, I need to decide how I would like to medicate myself tonight...a bottle of wine or a dozen donuts? I'm leaning towards the donuts!

I like your evil Friday the 13th pic LOL. It sounds like you are so lucky to have Joel to mellow you out! It sounds a lot like Brandon and I. I tend to worry and let things bother me, but B is usually calm and collected. Its nice to have that. Although sometimes I get aggravated that he is so calm LOL! I hope you have an awesome weekend to make up for your crummy week! Eat a donut for me please!

I've learned a lot from Joel about staying calm. I used to be extremely panic-prone over the smallest things. Mallory has even noticed how I don't panic like I used to.
I just got back from Wal-Mart and I have the donuts! LOL I hope you have a great weekend too.

I'm sorry that things never cease to be upside down. Summer is coming, a new swing is calling your name, and all will be right with the world again.

Thank you Mallory and I agree with what you said about summer. The good news is that things are starting to feel right with the world again. Love ya!
