I work for a local government office whose main purpose is to provide education and resources on recycling and reuse. We share space with a recycling center which makes me one lucky crafter. I confess that I have become somewhat of a hoarder as a result. The recycling center guys have been collecting maps, among other things, for me to use for reuse/repurposing crafting. I have a collection of old dictionaries and assorted other books and things ready to be reused. This is my first attempt at making a paper wreath. It welcomes visitors to the office . This craft is so easy to do and costs just pennies to make (a little bit of Elmer's glue). It's as simple as rolling paper squares into cones and then gluing them to a circle base such as card stock (I used a cereal box). This wreath has two rows of cones with a medallion center. I didn't think to take pictures as I was making the wreath but I do know there are lots of online tutorials should you decide to make one. Give this easy and fun craft a try!
